Let’s stop fast fashion and fashion waste!
This concept is meant to be fair and sustainable from the supplier (i.e. fair trade, controlled supply chain), to the client. Driven by the analysis that shopping is being more and more oppressive for people (due to e.g. lack of time, social pressure, aggressive marketing), it is proposed to set a home delivery system in form of a regular box.
This box will include a selection of outfits fitted on the clients’ morphology and style, provided by suppliers supporting ethical fashion.
The aforementioned box will always be delivered and picked up again, full or empty, enabling the client to freely pick the best pieces of the selection. The private sphere becomes the fitting room where the client will be allowed to freely try the outfits for a reasonable period. This distribution network will also permit to set a recycling network for old clothes.
It appears that this concept should be implementable in Switzerland due to the relatively reduced opening hours of the shops as well as the excellent delivery system proposed by the Swiss post.
